this year has allowed me to realize that the only person i truly depend on is myself.

there are times when i despise myself for being so closed off (and i truly believe it is a a fault and something i work at every day). but there are more times i smile at my ability to live without needing someone to take care of me or approve of me. i am the only person that determines my self worth.

getting to know yourself is the best thing that anyone can do.
