It's stupid but- I keep waiting for a message that's never going to come. But then I remember that we went 7 years without a word.

We're both prideful and cowardly. The worst parts of ourselves are the things we had most in common.

Sometimes I still toss and turn at night, but deep down I know I could have a much tougher time falling asleep at night. You know there's a great deal of solace found in knowing you didn't take away another woman's husband. Life's about choices and not the ones we almost make.
