if i could have it all back i'd take it in a heartbeat. but i'm trying to come to terms with the fact that i'll never have anything in any kind of tangible form again.

however, there are certain things and ways a person can hold on to enough to get by.

when i texted you drunk in the middle of the night last week and said, "don't forget about me" and you replied with, "i haven't. i never will" instantly, well then i realized that i have that. you know? i have enough to get by.
